When creating Web Intelligence documents, there are two distinct components that make up the report: the query and the report layout. The query defines what data is returned to the report. Queries are discussed in Chapters 19 and 22.
The report layout defines how the data is displayed and formatted in the report. Chapter 18 introduced the components of a report layout. You learned how to change basic block styles: tables, charts, and crosstabs. In this chapter, you will learn how to use some of the advanced formatting options to enhance cells, tables, charts, and crosstabs.
