Generating the Solution Manager Key
A Solution Manager key is required to perform SAP installations, and the following procedure should be used to generate it. Log in to your Solution Manager system, execute transaction code SMSY, and choose Systems, right-click, and select the Create New System option. The following screen appears. Enter the system identifier, product, and product version; and click the Save button.
