In Hour 3, “Linking to Other Web Pages,” you learned to use the <a> tag to create links between HTML pages. This hour takes linking a step or two forward by showing you how to use the same tag to enable viewers to jump between different parts of the same web page. This allows you to break a document into sections, and opens up opportunities for creating a table of contents with links or to put a link at the bottom of a page that returns you to the top. You’ll find out how to link to a specific point within a separate page, too.
