How to start and stop the mysql client program
How to create a MySQL user and set the user's password
An introduction to ODBC
Most of the things covered today will be explained in more detail in later lessons; today's lesson gives you just enough general knowledge to follow the practical examples in this book. After today, you should feel comfortable navigating through the various programs and files that make up the MySQL database system.
