Hour 7. Using Fireworks to Create Images
Fireworks MX is an image creation and optimization tool that is an excellent addition to your Web development Tools panel. You will need to create and optimize the images that you use in your Web sites, and Fireworks enables you to quickly create images with cool effects, such as bevels and glows. If you do not have Fireworks MX, you can download a trial version at www.macromedia.com/software/trial_download/.
Dreamweaver and Fireworks are tightly integrated. You can open Fireworks files in Dreamweaver, make changes, and see those changes in the original Fireworks file. You can also export tables, rollovers, and HTML code created in Fireworks directly into Dreamweaver.
