Overview
Historically, Channel Sales was seen as the way third parties would sell on behalf of another company. The company may implement a channel sales strategy to sell products and services via dealers, retailers, and affiliates. Today, however, this is ever more common through Online Sales. Multichannel sales involve selling through a variety of different methods. Omnichannel, another phrase often used, is much the same as multiple channel sales but where the different methods combine and lead to a seamless experience regardless of how the customer interacts and at what stage.
