Epilogue

I wrote this book in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. At the beginning of the pandemic, I decided I didn’t want this year to be about hiding or capitulating to fear. I wanted to accomplish something that was meaningful for me personally.

I’m not famous. I’m not a billionaire. I’ve made plenty of mistakes. I’m not special, but I’m a happy person. I like my life and wouldn’t have it any other way. Above all, I value life and pray that people don’t waste their lives muddling along, doing things they don’t want to do or that don’t make them happy.

One of the ways I’ve chosen to save the world is to become a career coach and help people create meaningful lives. Writing this book brought a sense of purpose to my life, and I hope ...
