ROTOSCOPING SOFTWARE
A multitude of programs offer rotoscoping as a tool set. These programs aren’t all strictly rotoscoping software. Since splines are such an integral part of the compositing workflow, comping programs such as Nuke, Shake, Combustion, Flame, and After Effects all offer some sort of spline-based manipulation.

The roto tools among the various comping and rotoscoping programs vary in their use, interface, and capabilities, but as far as roto is concerned, there are many constants.
