Plan Evaluation

This technique highlights and isolates risk disparities in planning. It evaluates project plans for contradictions and voids. Traditional, formal plans used to guide a project include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Project

  • Cost management

  • Schedule management

  • Quality management

  • Communication management

  • Human resource management

  • Contract management

  • Stakeholder management

  • Test management

  • Training

Other documents are also essential to the success of the project and to such evaluations:

  • Work breakdown structure (WBS)

  • Project specifications

  • Statement of work (SOW)

  • Contracts

  • Other baseline documents
