I gave this chapter an ambiguous title for a good reason: I’d like you to take a few moments to look at the two opening images and see what you notice first. No peeking below. ☺
Okay. Did you notice the strong shadow patterns, the composition, or the starburst effect? Did you notice the mood (perhaps haunting) of the picture created by the low-light/one-light situation and falling snow?
When I show these pictures during one of my seminars, folks notice all those things and don’t notice why I show these pictures side-by-side, until I mention the reason.
