Both part I and part II examine the challenges and opportunities confronting business schools today. They do so, however, from different vantage points, using different levels of analysis. Whereas part I provides a detailed, empirically grounded portrait of the larger environment for MBA education, part II shifts the focus from an industrywide perspective to in-depth portraits of particular institutions.
