Introduction to Chapters 2 and 3
With the exception of the two projects that were not in the Retrofit for the Future programme (Culford Road and Grove Cottage), the information and data presented in these chapters have been gathered from the final reports submitted by each team to the Technology Strategy Board upon completion of the built phase of each project. The 20 project teams also collaborated by providing additional information such as images and post-occupancy data, and all have been given the opportunity to comment on the final draft of this publication.
In order to best compare the 20 case studies, they have been compiled according to an identical four-page layout.
