15	Traditional AC/AC Converters

AC/AC conversion technology is an important subject in research and industrial applications. In recent decades, the AC/AC conversion technique has been greatly developed. We can sort these developments into two categories. The converters developed in the twentieth century can be called the traditional AC/AC converters; these are introduced in this chapter. The new technologies of AC/AC conversion technology are introduced in Chapter 16 [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6].
