In the 2050 scenario, the land area used for food crops is considered the same as now. This includes the cropland area fraction (Fig. 6.33; AF in Fig. 6.32) and, for grazing, rangeland as well (Fig. 6.34). Forest (Fig. 6.35) and marginal land (Fig. 6.36) is not used for food crops.
