Dorothea Alewell is a professor of human resource management at the University of Hamburg, Germany. After an education in business administration, she specialised in human resources. Some of the topics she worked on during past years are the socio-economic analysis of labour law, firm’s investment in training and personnel development, gender stereotypes and firm’s decisions on personnel services. Currently, she is the head of the cooperative and interdisciplinary research network on good labour standards at Hamburg, and her research topics are spirituality at work and good labour standards.
