Writers, directors, actors, and producers all have to decide what part ethics will play in their work. The creative team may choose to ignore, embrace, or co-opt ethical issues, but they can’t readily deny their existence; sometimes the ethical quandaries lurk below the surface before imploding and creating a crisis.
