Abstract
IoT devices have limited memory, storage, and bandwidth, which makes it difficult for them to handle large and complex data. Therefore much of this data must be outsourced to the cloud. This outsourcing, however, creates privacy problems and allows for unauthorized access to the data. Ciphertext-policy attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) schemes are the best solution for providing privacy and access control to the data in the cloud.
