Power up the ESP8266

If you have a DC/DC converter or voltage regulator to get the 3.3V for the ESP8266, then connect the power supply's 5V terminal to the ESP8266 bridging through the 5V to 3.3V DC/DC converter or connect the 3.3V from the 3.3V power supply to the VCC of ESP8266:
