Adjoint

The transpose of a matrix of cofactors.

Determinant

A unique numerical value associated with a square matrix.

Identity Matrix

A square matrix with 1s on its diagonal and 0s in all other positions.

Inverse

A unique matrix that can be multiplied by the original matrix to create an identity matrix.

Matrix

An array of numbers that can be used to present or summarize business data.

Matrix of Cofactors

The determinants of the numbers remaining in a matrix after a given row and column have been removed.

Simultaneous Equations

A series of equations that must be solved at the same time.

Transpose

The interchange of rows and columns in a matrix.
