The Jupyter Qt console is a lightweight application that blends the simplicity of a terminal with features possible only in a GUI, such as viewing inline figures. It’s designed for quickly testing ideas, exploring datasets, and working through tutorials rather than extended interactive use.
When I say that the Qt console is “lightweight,” I mean that it has a small memory footprint and doesn’t burden your CPU.
