RPIE—Research, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation

Just as each element of a command has its particular planning process, so too does public affairs. Effective communication plans and campaigns need to be clear, concise, and cohesive in order to address problems and capitalize on opportunities. These strategic plans are used to help the organization achieve:

A proactive change in attitudes/communication (etc.).

An increase of awareness.

Actually get something done.
