Thermoplastics include common household materials such as ABS, acrylic, polystyrene, polypropylene, and polycarbonate. These plastics become liquid when heated to their viscous melting temperature, allowing for mass-production injection-molding. Thermoplastics are also extruded or cast into different sizes of tubing and sheet, readily available through commercial retailers for fabrication.
