Building and Maintaining an Effective Team
Brad decided to act on his suspicions about solution-jumping—and the information and insights he uncovered in his brief conversation with Milt, the Operations representative. Brad also had a productive meeting with Monica, the engineer responsible for installing the production lines four years ago. With some additional investigation, another working session with Monica, and the input of others around the company, Brad established that the optimum approach to address the need for additional production capacity is to modify the four existing lines so they are able to produce 800 units per week.
