The course theme for a research project was identified as the African continent. Within this theme, student teams had freedom to define their own project focus. One group decided to do research on the adoption of banking with a focus on culture. Their literature review contained sections on (a) banking adoption, (b) culture, (c) culture and business, and (d) summary. These sections are presented as follows.
