Chapter 11. Device learning
Now that I’ve covered implementing artificial sensing, auditory, vision, and motor functions, in this chapter I show you how to prepare an artificial intelligence (AI) module, which can combine signals acquired by other artificial modules to reason, make decisions, and predict outcomes like a human.
An AI module can memorize data such as sensor readings, voice commands, or images. It can evaluate this data and use it to take specific action. For instance, an AI module can analyze sensor readings to detect an anomaly and process voice commands to turn on or off a particular function.
