When people think of a penetration test, they often think of a system being attacked by the use of penetration test tools. However, penetration testing is more than just hacking – there are a lot of project managerial processes that must be included in the PenTest. Because of the high level of interest and propensity for things to go horribly wrong, a penetration test requires constant communication between the PenTest team and the stakeholders.
