Fast Search for SharePoint, while a big part of the overall SharePoint search offering, will be briefly discussed in this chapter only from features comparison standpoint to give you a better idea of the options available from within the SharePoint-based search offering. Fast Search for SharePoint will be covered in more detail in Chapter 5.
