Framework Mapping

In this chapter, we will show how to use maps between several frameworks. We will first show the maps relating CMMI v1.2 to each of the selected ISO standards. Later, based on the information obtained from those maps, we will show how to use them and how to detect framework synergies and gaps. Keep in mind that maps between two frameworks are great tools, but they are only tools. An understanding of the frameworks is needed to use them effectively.
