In Chapter 2, we developed a desktop application-like Rich Internet Application (RIA) called My Album using Silverlight. Now the key question is, can it be an enterprise application? I believe we are pretty close.
Chapter 1 provided a good exploration of the Web 2.0 concept. This chapter will start with outlining the concepts behind another buzz word, "Enterprise 2.0." The text then redefines the question, "What is an enterprise-ready technology platform?" in terms of Enterprise 2.0. Later, you'll learn why Silverlight is an enterprise-ready technology that enables Enterprise 2.0 and Web 2.0 applications.
