The Governance Plan
The hardest part of creating a governance plan is determining where to begin. The following comprehensive governance plan template is a good starting point. You will want to customize your plan, as needed, to fit the business and situation.
In this appendix, we will present outlines for a number of different documents that create a complete set of governance documents. Whether your organization chooses to publish these as a set of separate documents or as one large document is up to you. We will present them in the way that has worked best for us.
