In this chapter, I continue exploring the integration between ASP.NET and SharePoint 2010. As you saw in the previous chapter, Low Touch Point solutions center on preserving separate functional areas of performance and delve into modifying the appearance through branding, layouts, and navigation. This perspective is at one end of the spectrum. At the other end of the spectrum are High Touch Point solutions. As you will see in the final chapter of the book, these solutions are designed to package up as one entity and deliver out as a product or a solution integrating SharePoint 2010 and ASP.NET.
