Chapter 15. Creating Output
At the beginning of the editing process, you asked yourself, “What is my final output goal?” Now it’s time to deliver.
If your computer has a FireWire connection or analog video capture card, you can output the program directly from the timeline to a video camera or videotape recorder. Alternatively, you may want to create a stand-alone movie file to present over the Web or burn to a CD-ROM or DVD.
An exported movie may also serve as source material for a PowerPoint presentation, After Effects composition, or even another Premiere project. If you are using Premiere as an offline editing tool, you can export an edit decision list (EDL) for use with a traditional online editing suite.
