The Predictive Modeling Lifecycle
Over the years, the software industry has developed a number of different software development lifecycles. These were developed to standardize the process of developing software, defining the different phases and tasks to be completed in each phase. We all know the benefits of these lifecycles. Likewise, for Data Mining projects, various groups have come together to create a lifecycle that is suitable to this specific type of work. In this chapter, the main data mining lifecycles are presented, in particular the CRISP-DM lifecycle.
