7.4.1. My first cookie
A cookie is a small piece of information stored on the client machine by a Web page. The Netscape browser stores its cookie in a file called cookies.txt. For IE systems, a whole directory (under the Windows directory) called “Cookies” is dedicated to storing cookie information. Cookies, or cookie information, can be accessed and manipulated using the script feature document.cookie.
