Many responsive websites collapse the navigation menu into a single button or icon for narrow viewports. The single menu button or icon can be clicked to expose the other navigation buttons. This technique allows plenty of room on the smartphone’s viewport for content. When this technique is combined with a drop-down menu, a website can have additional pages.
