About the Editor
John Donovan is Editor-in-Chief of Portable Design magazine. John has spent 25 years writing about technology, from both sides of the inbox: 12 doing mostly semiconductor PR and an equal amount as an editor at EDN Asia, Portable Design, Circuits Assembly Asia and PC Fabrication Asia as well as a columnist for Electronic Business Asia. John has written one previous book, dozens of manuals and hundreds of articles, the latter having appeared (in addition to his magazines) in EE Times, EDN, Asian Electronics Engineer and the Asian Wall Street Journal.
John has a B.A. in English Literature from U.C. Berkeley—which he earned while working his way through school as a microwave technician—and an MBA in Marketing from San Francisco ...
