The Planning the Project performance domain covers approximately 24 percent of the Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam. It includes the activities necessary to develop all the planning documents that when combined become the project management plan. There are plans and documents produced to assist and guide the project manager and project team in carrying out all the work associated with further planning, execution, monitoring and controlling; and closing work associated with scope, time, cost, quality, human resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management throughout the project.
