This chapter describes fluid flow and its applications. Understanding fluid flow is important in the electronics field. Air can be considered a fluid, and its flow around electrical equipment is vital for cooling. Knowledge of this subject should also help you understand plumbing, pneumatics, aerodynamics, and ventilation (Figure 9.1).
