Online Creations
Besides what you can do in Elements, you can create a handful of projects online at Shutterfly or Kodak Gallery (Ordering Prints). For example, you can order greeting cards using their formats and templates instead of Elements Greeting Card choices. First, select your photos in the Organizer, or open them in the Editor. Then go to Create → Greeting Card. Elements automatically uploads your photos, and you see them in the Kodak or Shutterfly wizard, which walks you through creating and ordering cards. You need to set up an account the first time you use either of these sites. Setting up an account and using the sites are explained on Ordering Prints.
You can also create calendars online. Before you start, you have to select 12 photos in the Organizer. Then go to Create → Photo Calendar, and Elements whisks you off to Kodak Gallery or Shutterfly. (You can access the Photo Calendar menu choice from either the Organizer or the Editor, but it's the photos you've selected in the Organizer that get uploaded.) If you select fewer than 12 photos, the Kodak wizard nags you to add more, and you don't have the option of using the same photo for each month. (Elements doesn't include templates for creating calendars to print at home or to take to your local print shop.) Shutterfly offers a variety of different calendar types, including 18-month calendars, collage calendars where you can use multiple photos on one page, and calendars that show the whole year on one page.
