The Idea
Cross-processing, or xpro for short, is a great way of giving photos taken on a film camera more impact. You shoot film as you normally would, then you get it processed in chemicals intended for another film type, You can shoot negative film and get it processed as slide film and vice versa. I cross-process slide film to give my images a super-saturated high-contrast look. This effect can make the most mundane images really interesting.
