Ambiguity and change are facts of life, chosen or not. At the time of this writing, many, many organizations are still struggling to adapt. Never has it been more clear that organizations are made up of people—living, breathing, thinking human beings, with valid needs and valued talents—and not the physical structures that house them. So, it becomes rather imperative for us to see what we can do to increase our own personal effectiveness in the interest of improving the quality of working life for ourselves, as well as all those we interact with.
