PeopleSoft delivers a reporting tool called Query. It is a user-friendly tool for non-technical individuals to retrieve data without knowing how to use SQL (Structured Query Language). This tool can be set up two ways. Some users can have access to create Query reports, while others can only run the queries. Determining how to set up the tool will depend on your environment.
The individual creating the query will have to have basic knowledge about the table structures. This will enable them to pull the correct data for their query.
