10.1 Overview of the Case Studies
The case studies presented in this chapter provide insight into the use of the People CMM by a number of organizations around the globe operating in a variety of business settings. Case studies from the Boeing Company, Pfizer Worldwide Technology, and Intel address organizations that are starting out and maturing using the People CMM as a guide. Several cases highlight the use of the People CMM in support of internal standards or an organization’s use of another framework, such as CMMI.
