Time Code — AATON ORIGIN C Unit
The AATON ORIGIN C unit is used to carry the exact time from the time code unit in the Nagra IV-S T.C. recorder to the Generator unit in the camera.
The ORIGIN C unit may also be used to reset the date and the time settings in the Nagra, if required.
Inputting Data
Original data can be entered into the ORIGIN C unit as follows:
- Switch the unit ON.
- The display will first ask for the Production Number (PR).
- Enter a two digit number, i.e., ‘45’.
- Press the “#” key.
- The display will then ask for the year (Y), followed by the month, the day, the hour, the minutes and the seconds.
- Enter two digits into each of them and press the “#” key after each entry.
- Press the “*” key to start the clock running.
- Press the “#” key ...
