Brier’s theory cybersemiotics is what I will apply to ontological-organizational research methods (O-ORM). Brier was educated as a biologist, specializing in human ethology, but made a Ph.D. in information philosophy of science and a habilitation in transdisciplinary philosophy of cognition and communication sciences with a special focus on transdisciplinary approaches like information cybernetics, systems, information, and semiotical sciences.
