Chapter 9. Using PL/SQL to Build Web Sites
The “Using PL/SQL” section of this chapter builds a basic HelloWorld display-type Web page using simple PL/SQL HTML-type commands. The HelloWorld example begins with passing text strings from PL/SQL to the HTML output (and subsequently being passed back to a Web browser). We will then build on the example by building a heading and displaying a picture. We will learn by updating the HelloWorld example to include either a parameter being passed or the Web page prompting the user for the parameter. Then, the “Building the Web Site” section of this chapter uses these skills from the HelloWorld example to build the Sales Tracking Web site.
