Automatic undo management
Oracle provides a fully automated automatic undo management for managing the undoing of information and space. With Automatic Undo Management, the database manages undo segments in an undo tablespace. In Release 11g and above, the Automatic Undo Management is the default mode.
Though the importance of UNDO data and undo tablespace is out of the scope of this chapter, the following screenshot shows the complete information of our UNDO settings for the database:
