Foreword
I have worked as the architect in the tools group at Oracle for the past seven years, with the last three of those years also spent leading the development team. In all that time, we have been driving toward a single vision. Our goal is to create a tightly integrated, highly productive environment for a diverse set of developers building Java-, Java EE–, and SOA-based applications. I think what we have delivered with JDeveloper and ADF 11g is the realization of that vision.
