Data Table Overview
First, you have to understand there are both tables that are specific to the application and tables that are specific to the database. The Data tables contain the data required to configure an application and maintain the financial data pertaining to that application. Data tables have the application name, a three-character designator defining the use of the table, and then the period ID and the year, separated by underscores: for example, “COMMA_DCE_3_2011.” Security Tables have a “HSV_” prefix, then the application name, then the table function, separated by underscores: for example, “HSV_COMMA_SECCLASSES.” A unique set of data tables exists for each application in the system.
