Each project brings its own unique challenges and people. Company culture, attitude, budget constraints, and perceptions all drive the outcome of a project before it even starts. Goals get created at the beginning of projects, sometimes to sell the need for getting this tool, and often whether those goals are met or not is decided on far more than the design or functionality of the tool. People determine the success of a project. This chapter will share some of those experiences. Some of the stories are compilations, not just one client’s story.
